Last updated: April 2025  ·  Please read these terms carefully before using AmbiusMed.

Important Medical Disclaimer: AmbiusMed is a medical education platform intended exclusively for qualified medical professionals and students. Content is derived from standard textbooks and clinical guidelines and is provided for learning purposes only. It must not be used to guide, replace, or supplement clinical decision-making for individual patients. Always consult authoritative sources and exercise independent professional judgement in clinical practice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AmbiusMed platform ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not register for or use the Platform.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users by email.

By registering, you confirm that you fall into one of the above categories. Use by members of the general public for self-diagnosis or personal healthcare decisions is strictly prohibited.

3. Educational Purpose Only

All content on AmbiusMed — including MCQs, clinical case simulations, explanations, drug dosing information, and management guidelines — is provided solely for educational and self-assessment purposes.

AmbiusMed is not a clinical decision-support tool. Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical advice, a clinical recommendation, or a substitute for professional medical judgement. It must not be used to:

  • Diagnose, treat, or manage any patient condition
  • Replace consultation of primary literature or current guidelines
  • Inform prescribing or clinical management decisions
  • Guide emergency or acute clinical decision-making

4. Accuracy of Medical Information

Content on AmbiusMed is compiled primarily from the following standard reference works and authoritative guidelines:

  • Kumar & Clark's Clinical Medicine, 10th Edition
  • ACC/AHA, ESC, KDIGO, GOLD, ATS/IDSA, EASL, and ACR clinical guidelines

Despite careful authoring and review, errors, omissions, and outdated information may be present. Medical knowledge evolves rapidly, and information on the Platform may not reflect the most current guidelines or evidence at any given time.

You must always verify any clinical information against current, authoritative primary sources before relying upon it in any context.

5. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must not share your account with others, allow others to access the Platform through your credentials, or create multiple accounts. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must notify us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe that eligibility criteria have not been met or that these Terms have been violated.
